Every once in a while, we all need a break from our daily routines and duties.

Over this rejuvenating weekend indulge in a combination of calming asanas and meditation with yoga instructor, Claudia Gallo, and high-intensity workouts with health and fitness instructor, Leagha McMahon.

Then let the masseuse knead the rest of your knots away with a deep tissue or sports massage. And while you’re here, soak up the sights, smells and sounds of the surrounding rainforest.

For the more adventurous, go whitewater rafting, hike in the beautiful rainforest surrounding The Sticks, tube down the river or take a dip in the cool, clear water. Or, just take it easy and enjoy some quiet time with a book or a lazy nap in a hammock.

There is something for everyone, making this a perfect retreat to be enjoyed together with your other half, family or friends.

Terms & Conditions

Claudia's Yoga Classes

Claudia will be teaching a range of classes to cater to all levels of ability.

Some classes will be limited to 18 participants and will be filled on a first come basis. You will be guaranteed at least 4 yoga classes and we will do our best to get you a spot in your preferred classes.

Open level
Classes are open to beginners and complete newbies. It’s also a great way to get back to the basics and refresh your foundations.

Enjoy a Slow Flow or Hatha Yoga class where you’ll work on your strength, stability, balance and flexibility. Or release tension in the body and mind with the Yin Yoga classes where passive stretches are held for longer, with an introduction to meditation and breathing techniques.

Intermediate & Advanced
This is a set of more dynamic classes for those who already consistently practice yoga or have practiced for at least 6 months.

Classes will bring your energy up, work your core, strength and stamina, ending with a cool down to balance the energy, release and stretch it out. Expect a faster paced vinyasa flow style class with options for more advanced postures, modifications will also be given. The Arm Balances and Inversions workshop will work on the foundations as well as mindful transitions for you to play with these postures in your practice.

Boxing Bootcamp
Shadow box to the beat with this challenging upper body & strength routine.

Booty Burn
Feel the burn on your lower body! A resistance band workout designed to build up that booty and lower body strength.

Core Conditioning
A mat- based routine focused on core conditioning and sculpting the abs. Team up and train together with partner exercises as well.

HIIT Circuit
A non-stop fun HIIT circuit class for the whole body. Work on your condition & stamina with these fast paced workouts that are sure to break a sweat.

Get to know the Instructors

Originally from San Jose in Costa Rica, Claudia has spent the last ten years traveling and working around the world. After spending four years in KL, Malaysia has now become her second home

With a background in sports and adventure, Claudia’s energetic yet serene personality makes for very dynamic classes while not leaving out the importance of the breath and calming of the mind, which aligns well with her life motto: Be here now.

She pays special attention to proper alignment and her cues are clear for both beginners and advanced practitioners.

Committed to sharing wellness in an integrative and functional way, Claudia finds ways to take you into a peaceful mind, healthy, creative and “pura vida” living.

Fitness instructor & beautician Leagha McMahon hails from England and has lived in Kuala Lumpur since 2010, when she opened her award-winning beauty salon, The London Orchid.

Passionate about health, beauty, nutrition & fitness, Leagha’s main joy in life is to make people look good and feel good, whether in the gym, her salon or in her kitchen. She’s an amateur Muay Thai fighter & trains across the region, especially in Thailand where she hopes to fight soon.

Leagha’s classes are tough, but she’ll have options to suit your fitness level. The music is always on point, making training with her fun, hard but worth it.

You can find Leagha teaching FlyClimb, a Versaclimber class, and FlyFight, a HIIT boxing class, at Flyproject DC Mall. She also teaches in private homes and in her gym in Bukit Damansara.
